The AC4C Alcohol Action Team is composed of coalition leaders and community partners across Iowa that work on statewide prevention initiatives around alcohol.
We are an Action Team of AC4C – the Iowa Alliance of Coalitions for Change that meets online the fourth Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
The Alcohol Action Team’s initiatives include:
- Implementing alcohol prevention strategies outlined in the AC4C Action plan using the Seven Strategies for Community Change
- Working with partners to educate about evidence-based policies that reduce access to alcohol for youth
- Creating media materials designed to provide information to specific target audiences
- Sharing of progress, strategy implementation and resources from coalitions across the state
- Assist with planning and delivery of the statewide Prevention Conference in November
- Provide resources to coalitions across the state that participate in the annual Day on the Hil
