AC4C Prevention Conference 2026

Save the Date for the 8th Annual AC4C Prevention Conference being held Wednesday, November 4th in-person at MCTC, Camp Dodge, Johnston! The theme is “Prevention in a Rapidly Changing World”.  The opening keynote speaker is Kriya Lendzion!  We have heard she is amazing! She will also lead a workshop on vaping.  We’ll have workshops on Using AI for prevention for beginners and intermediates, emerging drug trends, Binge drinking/alcohol and cancer, problem gaming/gambling, amazing high school youth sharing their prevention work, alcohol and other substance-related violence prevention, and more yet to be determined. We’ll have opportunities for networking during lunch and we will end our day with Comedy for Prevention!

There will be two pre-conference opportunities on Tuesday, November 3 in the afternoon simultaneously, Prevention Ethics Recertification and an in-depth hands-on class on how to use AI in Prevention. The pre-conference classes will be limited in size.  More information will be coming out soon and registration will be out around September.  IBC CEUs (up to 6.0-9.0) are being requested for this conference!
