AC4C Quarterly Work Retreat

The AC4C Quarterly Work Retreat will be held at Camp Dodge, Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC) on Wednesday and Thursday, June 7 and 8. Day 1, Wednesday, is going to be a special day with an opportunity in the morning for your youth to come and participate in a Leadership Challenge Course that will be a great team building time for the youth as well. There will be some permission slips coming out for the kids who come for this. That afternoon the youth and adults will gather together, have some fun, get a little training on vapes and learn how the industry is using our youth like guinea pigs, and then, most importantly, we will listen to our youth on what is happening around these issues in their schools and communities.
On Day 2, Thursday morning, June 8, we will have what many of us always feel like is one of the best parts of our retreats, State Partner sharing. The afternoon will consist of some other great chances to network with each other. There is free lodging available for the adults on campus. You can indicate if you need that lodging right when you register for the retreat. We will have a hybrid retreat for most of the time so those who cannot make the trip can attend virtually. There may be an activity with the youth in the afternoon of Day 1 that those at home will not be able to participate in virtually.
